After a confirmed 1-inch hail event, the owner of this multi-building office and warehouse complex was stuck with a stalled claim: 470 squares of storm-hit metal roofing and nearly 20,000 sq ft of siding, valued by the carrier at $233,635.93. At one point, the carrier’s own inspection reported no storm damage at all.

Our team was engaged to do one thing: inspect every building and document every damage. Roof sections, flashing, vents, gutters, and elevations were photographed and measured until the loss was provable instead of debatable. The claim settled at $823,635.93 — $590,000 above where it started.

Our Story

Built by people who’ve seen what a missing record costs.

We came up in commercial property claims, where we witnessed the same issue, case after case. Not how bad the damage was, but whether anyone could prove what the building looked like before it happened.

The pattern never changed. A roof that’s held up for years gets called wear and tear, the owner remembers it differently, and with nothing on file from before the loss, it is one opinion against another.

PrevenTech opened in 2021 to fix the order of operations. We document the building first, on a schedule: every roof section and elevation, every interior ceiling and mechanical space, photographed, dated, located, and written up while everything is sound. When the storm comes, the record already exists, and it was made by someone with no stake in the outcome.

PrevenTech is not a public adjuster firm and does not manage insurance claims on our clients’ behalf. We are the layer underneath: the baseline inspection, the photographs, and the report. That record reads the same whether it goes to an adjuster, a lender, a buyer, or your own maintenance team.
